EPIC Parties Voted Best of Tennessee 2026 for Event Planner
On this page +
Some news we are still a little giddy about: EPIC Parties by Shanna has been voted Best of Tennessee 2026 in the Event Planner category. The award comes from Guide to Tennessee’s Best of Tennessee program, and it is community voted, which is exactly why it means so much to us.
We plan the parties. You cast the votes. Thank you, Tennessee.
Thank you, Middle Tennessee
A community-voted award only happens one way: people stop what they are doing and vote. To every client, guest and friend of EPIC who took the time, thank you. Life is busy, and we do not take that for granted.
The work behind this award is the work we love most. Children’s birthday parties with characters, foam and full themes. Milestone private parties designed around one specific life. Corporate events and grand openings that put a brand’s best foot forward. All of it across Middle Tennessee, from Brentwood and Franklin to Nashville and the towns around them.

That photo is the real reason we do this. Nobody remembers the invoice or the setup schedule. They remember a kid grinning through a faceful of pink foam, a parent who finally got to sit down and enjoy the party, a guest of honor who felt completely seen.
What the award changes, and what it doesn’t
Honestly? It doesn’t change how we work, and it shouldn’t.
We still start with a conversation about what you are celebrating. We still design around your celebration, your space and your budget. And the award doesn’t touch our pricing: EPIC Parties charges no consultation, design, or planning fee of any kind. Pricing is a transparent markup on the services we coordinate, and the full model is explained plainly here.
What the award does is sit next to something we are just as proud of: a 5.0 rating across 92 Google reviews, which you can read here. One client wrote this in a Google review, and it captures what we aim for every time:
“She has superb attention to detail and finds the most unique and amazing options for parties. Her communication and ability to deliver are unmatched.”
A community vote and a page of reviews say the same thing in two different ways. People trusted us with days that mattered to them, and they were glad they did.
A little extra, on purpose
“Event Planner” is the category, but anyone who has been to one of our parties knows we lean a little extra. Foam parties under blacklight. A fire performer at a sweet-treats booth. A mirror-suited stilt walker towering over the crowd. When a client wants the moment their guests will still be talking about, that is our over-the-top lane, and it is our favorite place to play.

The details are where a party goes from nice to unforgettable. A carved centerpiece. A character who knows the birthday child’s name from the booking. A color story that runs from the balloon garland all the way to the cookies. None of it is required. All of it is noticed.
How to weigh a “Best of” badge when you hire
We would be thrilled if this award puts us on your shortlist. We would also tell you what we tell everyone: an award is a great signal, and it is one signal. Whoever you are considering, pair it with three more:
- Reviews from your kind of party. A planner with glowing reviews for weddings may not be the right fit for a ninth birthday or a company grand opening. Read the reviews and count how many sound like your event.
- A straight answer on fees. Ask how the planner is paid before anything else. If the answer takes a while, that tells you something.
- Real photos from real events. Ask to see work from parties like yours, not mood boards.
We wrote the longer version as 7 questions to ask before hiring an event planner, and if you are comparing options around town, how to decide on the best party planner in Nashville walks through it lane by lane.
Be inspired: let’s plan the next one
If you have a celebration on the horizon, a milestone birthday, a kid who has been planning their theme since last year, a company moment worth marking, we would love to build your version of it. Browse the gallery for ideas, see everything we plan on our services page, or read our story on the about page.

When you are ready, tell us what you are celebrating. There is no consultation fee, no pressure, and a team that just got a very nice reminder of why we love this job.
Thank you again, Tennessee. Let’s keep throwing epic parties together.
