What we collect, and why
Written in plain English, and kept accurate to what the site actually does.
Last updated September 18, 2026
The short version
We collect what you tell us on the inquiry form so we can answer you and plan your event. We do not sell it, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it to track you around the internet. This site sets no cookies of its own.
What you give us
When you submit the contact or partner form, we receive and store what you typed: your name, your email address, your phone number, the type of event, the date, the budget range you chose, and anything you wrote in the message field. Nothing on the form is collected that is not shown on it.
What we record automatically
Along with your submission we store the IP address it came from, the page or site that referred you if there was one, and the time you submitted it. The IP address is kept for two reasons: it lets us limit how many submissions one source can send in an hour, which is how we keep spam off the form, and it gives us a record of where a submission originated. It is stored as-is rather than anonymised.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies. We use Plausible for analytics, which is cookieless and reports visits in aggregate rather than building a profile of you. It tells us things like which pages are read and roughly where visitors come from. It does not tell us who you are.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of service providers to run the site and respond to you. They process your information on our behalf and only for that purpose:
- Google Firebase and Google Cloud host this site and store your inquiry.
- Google reCAPTCHA checks that form submissions come from a person rather than a bot. Google's own privacy policy and terms apply to that check.
- Resend delivers the confirmation email to you and the notification email to us.
- Plausible provides the analytics described above.
If your event goes ahead, we will share what a supplier needs in order to do their part, and no more. A caterer needs a headcount and a time. They do not need your budget conversation.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers, and we do not use it to build advertising audiences.
How long we keep it
Inquiries are kept as business records, because a celebration planned two years ago is often the reason someone calls us again. If you would rather we did not keep yours, ask and we will delete it.
Asking us to delete it
Email Shanna@epicparties.biz or call 615-499-9395 and tell us what you would like removed, corrected, or sent to you. We will do it. You do not need to give a reason, and there is no form to fill in.
Children
We plan a great many children's parties, but this site is intended for the adults booking them. We do not knowingly collect information from children through this website. Details about a child that a parent gives us, such as a name for a character visit, come from the parent and are used only for that event.
Photographs
The photographs on this site are from real EPIC Parties events. If you are in one and would like it taken down, email us and we will remove it.
Changes
If we change how any of this works, we will change this page at the same time and update the date at the top.
