How a character visit is planned
A character visit is a short, high-impact part of the day, and it works best when it is planned rather than dropped in. We start with the characters your child actually loves, then work out where the visit sits in the run of the party. Usually that means arriving once the guests have settled and before cake, so the room is full and the energy is high. From there we plan the sequence: an entrance, photo opportunities and a proper meet-and-greet so every child gets their moment, story time, sing-alongs, and themed games to close it out. Performers stay in character throughout. We also line the visit up with the rest of the party, so the styling, the colors, and the backdrop all belong to the same world. Children notice when a princess turns up in a room that has nothing to do with her.
What is included, and why it matters
Professional, in-character performers are the whole thing. Staying in character under questioning from a determined five-year-old is a genuine skill, and it is the difference between a costume and a visit your child talks about for months. Photo opportunities and a structured meet-and-greet matter because in a group of twenty children the shy one will otherwise never get to the front. Story time and sing-alongs give the party a calm middle stretch, which is worth far more than most parents expect. Themed games and activities keep the momentum going once the first rush of excitement settles. Coordinating the visit with your party theme means the backdrop, the balloons, and the table all read as one set rather than competing with each other.
Character parties across Middle Tennessee
We bring characters to celebrations across Middle Tennessee, from Brentwood and Franklin out to Nashville, Murfreesboro, and Spring Hill. Most visits happen at home or at a venue the family has already booked, and either works. What changes is the logistics. A house party needs somewhere private for the performer to arrive from so the entrance still feels like magic, while a venue party needs that arranged with the venue in advance. Those details are part of the booking rather than something you have to solve on the morning. A character visit also pairs naturally with a full birthday build, so if you want the theme carried through the whole room instead of just the guest appearance, we can design the party around the visit.

Which characters can you bring to a party?
Princesses of every kind, from the coronation gown and the ice queen to the sea princess and the one with the frog. Superheroes, including the web-slinger and the caped favourites. Costumed mascots, among them a blue cartoon dog and a polka-dot mouse. Santa in December. If your child is asking for someone specific, tell us who and we will tell you straight away whether we can arrange them.
How does a character meet and greet actually run?
An entrance, photo opportunities and a meet-and-greet so every child gets time with the character, then story time, sing-alongs, and themed games. The performer stays in character from the door to the goodbye.
Can a character visit be added to a party you are already planning?
Yes, and that is often how it happens. When we are designing the whole celebration, the visit is scheduled into the timeline and the styling, colors, and backdrop are built to match the character.
How long does a character visit last?
It varies. Visits run from about 30 minutes to two hours, and the right length depends on the character, the number of children, their ages, and what else is happening at the party. We recommend a length once we know the plan, and it is set out in your proposal.
How far ahead do we need to book a character visit?
Earlier is better, because you are booking a specific performer rather than a product off a shelf. Popular characters on a Saturday in spring go first, and the same is true of any weekend close to a school holiday. If your date is already fixed, start with the character and build the rest of the party around what is available. If the date is flexible, tell us which character matters most and we will find the day that gets you them.
