How a private party is designed
Private parties cover a lot of ground, so the first conversation is about how the evening should feel rather than what it should look like. A fortieth that wants to feel like a night out is a different build from a baby shower that wants to feel soft and slow, even when the guest count is identical. From that we develop the concept, the color story, and the guest experience, then work outward into décor, florals, and installations, entertainment and catering coordination, and the small details guests remember without being able to name them. We set up, we run the event on the day, and we hold the vendors to one schedule, so you are never the person taking a call from a caterer while your guests are arriving. You get to be a guest at your own party, which is the entire point of hiring anyone.
What is included, and why it matters
Custom design and styling means the party has a point of view rather than a collection of purchases. Décor, florals, and installations turn a room or a backyard into somewhere that feels like an occasion instead of somewhere with extra chairs in it. Entertainment and catering coordination is worth stating precisely: we do not cater, we coordinate the caterers, the entertainers, and the rental suppliers so everyone is working to the same timeline you are. Thoughtful guest-experience details are the parts nobody describes afterward but everybody feels, like where people naturally gather, how drinks flow, and whether there is anywhere to sit down. Setup and day-of coordination mean the running of the evening is somebody’s job, and that somebody is not the host.

Most of our private parties are hosted at home, in Brentwood, Franklin, and the neighborhoods around them, with others in Nashville, Murfreesboro, and Spring Hill. Home events have their own demands: parking, where food gets staged, how a hundred guests move through a house built for a family, and what happens when the party spills into the garden. Venue events trade those problems for load-in windows and house rules. We coordinate with your venue and the vendors you have already chosen, or bring in the ones we work with, and we plan the evening around whichever space you are actually in.

What counts as a private party?
Milestone birthdays, showers, engagement parties, anniversaries, retirements, and themed celebrations with no particular occasion behind them. If it is a grown-up celebration you want designed and run, it fits here.
Do you provide the food?
No. We coordinate catering rather than cater it ourselves, which means we brief the caterer, hold them to the timeline, and make sure the food, the entertainment, and the rentals all arrive when the plan says they should.
Can you work with a venue we have already booked?
Yes. We coordinate with your venue and any vendors you have already chosen, work to the venue’s load-in rules and house requirements, and fill in the rest of the team where you need it.
What is the difference between a party planner and a party rental company?
A rental company supplies items. You tell them what you want, they deliver it, and coordinating everything else stays with you. A full-service planner designs the event, sources and manages every vendor including the rental companies, builds the timeline, runs the day and strikes it afterwards. If you already know exactly what you want and have the time to run it, rental is often the right call. If you would rather be a guest at your own party, that is what planning buys.
